"Great- Mac & Cheese. Portions of food. Very Good -Yams & Baked Beans, Green Beans, Catfish, smothered chicken special. OK - Cornbread. Good but more yellow cake than cornmeal southern! Service - Adequate. It shouldn't take 2 people to fill out the check. Atmosphere - More takeout than sit down. Negative - charging and extra fee for credit cards, so we paid cash. Wait for chicken dinner 20-25 minutes should be stated on the menu. OVERALL VERY GOOD. We will return, and likely call in takeout chicken dinners."

"Great ribs. Reasonably priced for lunch $11-15. Dinner ribs and a drink was $22 and was a lot of food. Good value and great quality food."

"Oh my god, this place is so good. The wife wanted chicken livers. This was the closest place I found serving them. The staff was great, the service was fast, friendly, and flawless! Fried chicken livers, rice, collard greens, sweet potatoes, corn, and cornbread were all amazing. We got two small sweet potato pies, because I heard them say they had a person who makes all their desserts locally. Delicious!"

"My family and I made it right before closing. We ordered our food and everything was prepared deliciously! We got two orders of fried catfish, baked chicken, and oxtail! Their creamy rice is amazing. The kids kept asking for my cat fish because of how yummy it is. There's no where else that makes BBQ that reminds you of Thanksgiving at your granny's house. Absolutely love Skeebos. You can tell that everything is made with love."

"Skeebo's Soul Food Kitchen 2280 Harris Ave. NE Palm Bay, FL 32905 4 Stars Every Sunday, my dad would fire up the hibachi and cook chicken, steak, sausage, and ribs. It was a cornucopia of flavors that I have lovingly remembered since childhood. That was 44 years ago (give or take). Until Skeebo's Soul Food Kitchen, I had not encountered those memorable flavors since then. In an age of green eggs and wood chips, "best" this and "best" that, it was refreshing to taste a backyard cookout again. Lisa is our outstanding service provider, and she did a bang-up job. She was polite and pleasant and answered all my questions about the menu and food preparation. I put in an order for their rib and chicken combo and the fried catfish platter with sides of mac and cheese, collard greens, seasoned fries, and a slab of cornbread. Kickin' back and snapping a few pics of the joint, I awaited Lisa's return as patiently as a grallatorial bird hunting minnows. I gathered that the kitchen was run with as much efficiency as Lisa worked the front, as she reappeared in no time laden with my delectables. Continuing with the picture-taking motif, I snapped some of the foodstuffs and wholeheartedly dug in. First up on the Big Boy's discerning palate was the Rib & Chicken Combo. This was sampled first only because it was closest to my meaty paw. The ribs were obviously cooked slow and low for hours as they were so tender as to practically melt in my mouth like a palate of tasty BBQ butter. Once again, loyal follower, if your ribs are "fall of the bone" tender, they are tragically overcooked. Properly cooked ribs will be tender, moist, succulent, and melty, not fall apart on your plate. These were exceptional. I could say the exact same thing for the cockalorum. To paraphrase Yoda in honor of the recently passed May the Fourth, "Stupendous, this was." Moving on to the next entree and then we will circle back to the sides. I found the fried catfish to be cooked perfectly; however, it was obviously not a USDA grade A fillet of catfish, hence the 4-star rating and not a 5. The fish flaked wonderfully and the breading was evenly distributed and flavorful, it was the fish itself that was rather bland in presenting itself to the palate. Now, like the old west myth of the wagon train, it's time to circle back to them thar sides. Arguably just as important as the method and sauce of the BBQ, sides are an integral part of the traditional Southern BBQ. The mac & Cheese was certainly made in the back and was reminiscent of the stuff from Grandma's kitchen. The collard greens were so tasty and so Southern that I half expected them to tell me I was grinnin' like a possum eatin' a sweet tater. To be honest, I was as they were so tasty! The fries were fried and seasoned to perfection and the cornbread was moist and fluffy as Uncle Skeeter intended. The Big Boy says, "If you want to relive your childhood or just want properly cooked soul food, this is the place you should try. Just leave your action figures or Tonka trucks at home.""

"Just plain old good food. Everything was excellent and on point! The Rib Dinner was superb. They were tender, the sides were awesome. What you get for the price is great."
